I started out in youth sports years ago and found that although trying to capture that perfect action shot was really very cool, taking Team and Individual portraits for the school or capturing close-ups of the athletes expressions during a game in candid situations is really what I found rewarding. Those special shots are what eventually led me to start doing more Portrait and Studio work and the creation of this website.

As you go through my galleries you'll find there's a lot that goes into my shooting and lighting techniques. I'm somewhat of a 'Strobist' which is someone who incorporates off camera lighting into shots to add a bit of drama and edginess to their work. Over the years however, I've learned to balance my strobes with the available natural light sometimes using reflectors over strobes depending on the lighting situation. As you can see in my galleries, many of the sessions are quite unique and are tailored towards the desires of my customers.

You'll find I'm easy to work with and my goal is simple... to provide you with unique and professional photographs at a reasonable cost with uncompromising service. One of the first things you'll notice are that my sessions don't have times limits... no 1/2 hr studio sessions or 1 hr. location time limits. I could, but I don't. I'm far more concerned with the quality of the shots, the location and the vibe than putting an arbitrary time limit on something you've probably spent more time researching than most photographers take to do their entire session. My business is built on reputation, referrals and the overall satisfaction of my clients. I may not see you again in months or even years but I want to be the only one you think of when you decide you’re in need of a professional photographer again.
